Train Trip and Rafting:Available June 21 - August 27 (Tuesday-Saturday only)
Come aboard the Heber Historic Railroad and take this 100-year-old train ride of a lifetime.
This half or full day excursion includes a trip on the train around the farmlands of Midway
and Deer Creek Reservoir and then a descent down into Provo Canyon to the South Fork. Our
shuttle vans will be waiting for you as you get to Vivian Park (south fork) to help you
get to the river.
The rafting trip starts from the Deer creek Campground and is 6 miles long with several class II rapid sections, suitable for everyone. Our guides will make sure you have a safe and enjoyable time on the water. The raft excursion ends at Frazier Park. From there a shuttle bus will drop you off at your car at the train depot or if you choose the full day option, we'll shuttle you up to Robert Redford's resort for lunch at the Foundry Grill or the Sandwich Deli. We will then shuttle you down to Vivian Park to catch the train back to Heber. The morning half-day trip starts at 10:00am and ends at 2:00pm , the afternoon half-day trip starts at 1:00 p.m and ends at 5:00. The train/raft combo runs daily (Tuesday-Saturday) from June 21 and ends at August 27.
