Directions
Coming From Park City:
Follow Kearns Blvd. (next to Albertson's)out of town for 2 miles to Highway
40 and take the 40 east onramp to Heber. Follow '40' for 15 miles to
Heber City. At the last stop light in town (you'll see an Arby's and a
Claimjumper restaurant) take a right onto highway 189 and continue on
'189' for 20 miles.
This scenic highway will take you around the Deer
Creek resevoir, over the dam itself, and into Provo Canyon. As
you wind down the canyon you will go through a tunnel in the mountainside
and pass the Sundance turnoff.
You will soon see a large sign for Vivian
Park and the Heber Historic Railroad. Proceed 1/4 mile past the sign
and turn left off the highway down into a private R.V. park next to
the highway. You will see our building and parking space as you enter
the park.
NOTE:
If you see a big waterfall on the left, you've gone
1.5 miles too far.
Coming From SLC:
Head south on I-15 to exit 272. Turn left
off the exit and follow it through a series of stoplights. As you reach
the mountains the road forks left toward Provo Canyon (189 north) and forks
right into Provo (189 south).
Stay to the left and travel towards Heber City. Proceed 6 miles up the canyon to a private R.V.
park on the right-hand side. We are located 1.5 miles
past Bridal Veil Falls.
NOTE:
If you reach a tunnel, you have gone about 1 mile too far.
If you see a resevoir you have gone 6 miles too far.
Coming From Provo or I-15 Northbound:
Follow University Ave in Provo about 9 miles(from East Bay) to the entrance
of the canyon (Highway 189). Stay to the right and proceed 6 miles until you reach
a private R.V. park on the right-hand side. We are located 1.5 miles
past Bridal Veil Falls.
NOTE:
If you reach a tunnel, you have gone about 1 mile too far.
If you see a resevoir you have gone 6 miles too far.
